Raise your glass, it’s THIRSTY THURSDAY! This week we bring you the The BEACHCOMBER COCKTAIL! Adapted from the 1947 edition of Trader Vic’s Bar-Tender’s Guide this will transport you beachside!
• 2 oz. Rum (original recipe calls for white but some like it dark)
•
...3/4 oz. Cointreau
• 3/4 oz. fresh Lime Juice
• 1/4–1/2 teaspoon Maraschino Liqueur (the juice from the jar, half-wit!)
• 1/4 teaspoon Simple Syrup (OPTIONAL), depending on your tastes
• Ice
Place all ingredients into a chilled cocktail shaker and shake to a South Pacific rhythm. Serve in a chilled garnished with a slice of orange and a maraschino cherry. ENJOY!
