Mike's Beach, Hood Canal WA Dive Day!
When: Saturday, October 15th, 2011
Join us as for fun dives at Mike's Beach in Hood Canal, WA! Mike's has lots to discover underwater including wrecks, tire reefs, and a deep platform that sits in the middle of a bed of Sea Whips. Divers are often treated to Octopus sightings at Mike's!
Dive Site Meet time: 11am
Dive Time: 1pm -3pm Underwater Pumpkin Carving will be briefed at 12pm
Underwater Pumpkin Carving: 1pm -3pm Interesting in carving a pumpkin underwater? Top three pumpkins as voted on by our divers will be awarded prizes. Divers need to bring their own pumpkins for carving.
Daytripper Info:Beach Access Fee is $10 per diver per day and includes use of the amenities at mike's such as the bathrooms, the hot tub, and more
Meals: All divers are welcome to partake in weekend meals at $5 a meal per person. We have a dedicated diver coordinating all meals!
Location/Directions: Take I-5 North to Exit 104, Port Angeles / Ocean Beaches . Drive 5.8 miles and turn right at the Highway 101/Highway 8 junction toward Shelton and Port Angeles. Continue on the scenic highway and you'll find the resort 50 miles North of Olympia on the right side of the highway. Address is: N. 38470 Hwy 101, Lilliwaup, WA 98555.
