A group of 18 Seven Seas Divers, family members, and friends, met on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 at the Newport Fingers on the Oregon Coast in celebration of International Cleanup Day. Thanks to the support of SOLV, we filled up a number of donated garbage bags with both underwater and topside trash. (Did you know the first Beach Cleanup in the nation was held in Oregon in 1984?)
A group also met on Sunday, September 26th, 2010 for a special behind the scenes Oregon Coast Aquarium tour. Thanks goes out to the incredible aquarium staff for an educational morning!
Congratulations to the 6 Seven Seas Divers who earned their Project AWARE certifications the week prior!
Again another incredible DIVE MORE⢠monthly event with Seven Seas Divers!
See you all at next month for our Halloween festivity day on Saturday, October 16th, 2010 where we plan to dive at the Yellow House and/or Sund Rock. Divers interested in mastering unwater pumpkin carving, bring your pumpkins and yur carving skills!
