Thursday, April 16th - Classroom session 6:30-9:30pm
Janna will be leading a pre-dive day classroom presentation discussing and emphasizing the following:
- Elements of great photographs Targeted at shooting photos in our unique Pacific Northwest waters - which is quite different than diving in tropical waters!
- Different kinds of digital cameras
- Care of digital photography equipment
Saturday, April 18th - Dives 10am - 3pm
Dives will be held at Saltwater State Park in conjunction with the Pacific NW Critterwatchers quarterly survey dive and BBQ! Currents are predicted to mild that day so it should be nice conditions for underwater phtography.

Thursday, April 23rd - Classroom session 6:30-9:30pm
Janna will lead a follow-up classroom session to discuss:
- The ins and outs of digital images
- The selection of keeper shots
- How to download, organize, back up, and touch up digital images using editing software
This is a FUN, hands on, no boring lecture class! Class price is
$125 and includes specialty certification card, Digital Underwater Photographer manual, and white balance slate. Students must bring their own (or borrowed/rented) camera and housing to use in class. Camera rentals are available from Aquatica Camera through Seven Seas Scuba.
