I love the feel of water on my skin -- and not just my face.
It is good to be back home in Florida. My wife, Heather, and I went for a bike ride up Sanibel Island today (yes, the Sanibel light is decorated for Christmas), and I got a bit too much sun in my quest to look like a Floridian again. Oh, sorry, I forgot you guys are chaining up to buy milk. . .
Anyway, after a bite and a Rum Runner at an open air pub on Ft Myers Beach, we stopped by the Scuba Quest store in Cape Coral to chat with the store manager Ramiro. Ramiro was just leaving Scuba Quest when I was coming on board, so we had met, but had never really gotten to know each other. His store is doing really well, and already has a good Openwater class together for the beginning of February.
So, it looks like I will be teaching a bit for Scuba Quest again, which makes me happy. And I find myself telling anyone who will listen how full of wonder the diving is in Puget Sound, Canada, Monterey.
I am working on arrangements for the Seven Seas Scuba Tour of Florida for Fall 2009, and also dreaming of doing some more Canadian wrecks, eh?, and 200' dives from the beach, and yes, coming up in the winter and already being dry.
Speaking of being dry, I need to remember not to wear a diaper under my wetsuit.
Peace!
